My name is Sam Wen, and I work at Square in San Francisco. In the past, I was a defense industry junkie. After I recovered, I joined Jack Dorsey, Jim McKelvey, Tristan O’Tierney, and Robert Anderson to form Square.

I am an engineer who speaks user experience, user interface, algorithms, and circuits with an entrepreneurial spirit. I type many programming languages fluently – please ask if you are wondering about a specific language. My current open source project is SimplePlot.

I am a photographer, pianist, Wizards fan, gamer, and eater.
